Preparing All Students for Success
PASS (Preparing All Students for Success) is a nonprofit founded by veteran educator Geoffrey King in 2017. Our mission is to equip students with life skills often missing from traditional classrooms. We teach everything from financial literacy and college readiness to mentoring and personal growth.
Through workshops, mentoring, and free PSAT/SAT prep, PASS helps students from Wards 7 and 8 in Washington, D.C. break down barriers and build a foundation for lifelong success. With guidance on budgeting, credit, and decision-making, plus mentorship in professional skills like interviewing and “dressing for success,” PASS is committed to creating opportunities that carry forward from one generation to the next.

My child gained so much confidence through PASS. The financial literacy lessons gave them tools I wish I had at their age. The mentorship has been life-changing.
PASS has truly opened doors for my son. Visiting colleges made him excited about his future, and the free SAT prep helped him improve his scores dramatically.
The PASS program gave my child hope and direction. The mentors are amazing, and the program is filling gaps schools often overlook. We are so thankful.
I appreciate how PASS focuses on real-world skills. My daughter now understands budgeting and saving, and she has a mentor she looks up to every week.
